Column values are the “per tube” value of tubes based on the column the tube is loaded into.1. Log into PGRM. 2. Select “DEVICES.” 3. Select the name of the D8 safe to configure. 4. Select “VEND.” 5. Select “COLUMNS.” 6. Select “COLUMN VALUES.” 7. To edit the per tube value for a column, select the column (scroll as needed) and enter a new value. Note that the last two digits are cents. Press ENTER when done. 8. Press “ESC” to return to the idle screen. Column GroupsBy default all columns are assigned to Group 00. This group assignment lets all users vend from all columns. To restrict vending access you may reassign any column to a different group (00 to 31).1. Log into PGRM. 2. Select “DEVICES.” 3. Select the name of the D8 safe to configure. 4. Select “VEND.” 5. Select “COLUMNS.” 6. Select “COLUMN GROUPS.” 7. To edit the group assignment of a column, select the column (scroll as needed) and enter a new group number (00 to 31). Press ENTER when done. 8. Press “ESC” to return to the idle screen. Vend TillWhen the Vend Till feature is configured users with vend permission may vend a till of change at one time once per twelve hour period. The purpose is to allow employees to open a till at the beginning of their shift without opening a safe door.1. Log into PGRM. 2. Select “DEVICES.” 3. Select the name of the D8 safe to configure. 4. Select “VEND.” 5. Select “VEND TILL.” 6. Select the columns that are assigned to be part of a till. Participating columns are designated with a star (*). Press ENTER when done. 7. Press “ESC” to return to the idle screen. Vend DelayThe purpose of the vend delay is to prevent an employee from immediately emptying a column of tubes in order to minimizes loss during a robbery.1. Log into PGRM. 2. Select “DEVICES.” 3. Select the name of the D8 safe to configure. 4. Select “VEND.” 5. Select “VEND DELAY.” 6. Enter the new vend delay (in minutes). A value of 00 disables the vend delay. Press ENTER when done. 7. Press “ESC” to return to the idle screen. Unload DelayThe unload feature is designed to allow a manager to correct a tube count error by emptying all tubes from a column and resetting the tube count for that column. The purpose of the unload delay is to prevent immediate emptying of a column during a robbery.1. Log into PGRM. 2. Select “DEVICES.” 3. Select the name of the D8 safe to configure. 4. Select “VEND.” 5. Select “UNLOAD DELAY.” 6. Enter the new unload delay (in minutes). A value of 00 disables the unload delay. Press ENTER when done. 7. Press “ESC” to return to the idle screen. Variable Vend DelayThe purpose of the variable vend delay is to set a different vend delay during particularly busy (or slow) periods of the day. A shorter vend delay accommodates busier times when the need to quickly access to change outweighs the need for a normal vend delay for robbery protection.1. Log into PGRM. 2. Select “DEVICES.” 3. Select the name of the D8 safe to configure. 4. Select “VEND.” 5. Select “VAR VEND.” 6. Up to three variable vend delays may be set. Select one to configure. 7. Select the delay to edit its value (in minutes). Select the start and end times to edit their values. The variable vend delay will override the normal vend delay during the hours specified. Press ENTER when done. 8. Repeat Steps 6 and 7 as needed for additional variable vend delays. 9. Press “ESC” to return to the idle screen. |
