AuditLok XLV Naming Configuration Programming

Safe Name

Safes are automatically given default names according to their type and remote number designation. For example, V2R5 is a V2R and it is the fifth remote validator safe. DO NOT EDIT SAFE NAMES.
1. Normally safes should keep their default names. If you do change the name of the device, the default name should remain as a part of the name.
2. Log into PGRM.
3. Select “DEVICES.”
4. Select the name of the safe to rename.
5. Select “NAME.”
6. Enter the new name of the safe (15 character alphanumeric). Use the upper right selector arrow buttons to scroll characters (enter numbers directly using the number pad) and use the upper left scroll arrow buttons to move across the field. Press ENTER when done.
7. Press “ESC” to return to the idle screen.

Use this procedure to edit the name of a vend assembly. This should never be necessary unless you have performed a Device Search on a D8C.

4. Select “VEND.”
5. Select “NAME.”

7. Press “ESC” to return to the idle screen.
