AuditLok XLV Naming Configuration ProgrammingSafe NameSafes are automatically given default names according to their type and remote number designation. For example, V2R5 is a V2R and it is the fifth remote validator safe. DO NOT EDIT SAFE NAMES.1. Normally safes should keep their default names. If you do change the name of the device, the default name should remain as a part of the name. 2. Log into PGRM. 3. Select “DEVICES.” 4. Select the name of the safe to rename. 5. Select “NAME.” 6. Enter the new name of the safe (15 character alphanumeric). Use the upper right selector arrow buttons to scroll characters (enter numbers directly using the number pad) and use the upper left scroll arrow buttons to move across the field. Press ENTER when done. 7. Press “ESC” to return to the idle screen. D8 Vend NameUse this procedure to edit the name of a vend assembly. This should never be necessary unless you have performed a Device Search on a D8C.1. Log into PGRM. 2. Select “DEVICES.” 3. Select the name of the D8 safe to configure. 4. Select “VEND.” 5. Select “NAME.” 6. Enter the new name of the vend assembly (15 character alphanumeric). Use the upper right selector arrow buttons to scroll characters (enter numbers directly using the number pad) and use the upper left scroll arrow buttons to move across the field. Press ENTER when done. 7. Press “ESC” to return to the idle screen. Max Vend Hopper NamesMax Vend hoppers should be named according to the type of coin or currency the hopper holds.1. Log into PGRM. 2. Select “DEVICES.” 3. Select the Max Vend safe. 4. Select “MAX VEND.” 5. Select “NAME.” 6. Select the hopper to name. Enter the new hopper name (15 character alphanumeric). Use the upper right selector arrow buttons to scroll characters (enter numbers directly using the number pad) and use the upper left scroll arrow buttons to move across the field. Press ENTER when done. Repeat as needed. 7. Press “ESC” to return to the idle screen. Validator NamesUse this procedure to edit the name of a validator.1. Log into PGRM. 2. Select “DEVICES.” 3. Select the name of the validator safe to configure. 4. Select “VALIDATOR.” 5. Select “NAME.” 6. Enter the new name of the validator (15 character alphanumeric). Use the upper right selector arrow buttons to scroll characters (enter numbers directly using the number pad) and use the upper left scroll arrow buttons to move across the field. Press ENTER when done. 7. Press “ESC” to return to the idle screen. Lock NamesUse this procedure to edit the name of a lock. The lock’s name is also the name of the door.1. Log into PGRM. 2. Select “DEVICES.” 3. Select the name of the safe to configure. 4. Select “LOCK.” 5. Select the name of the lock to configure (if there is more than one lock). 6. Select “NAME.” 7. Enter the new name of the lock (15 character alphanumeric).
