OLD AuditLok XL - Power ProblemsTroubleshooting Loss of Power1. Check the transformer is plugged in to the AC outlet.2. Check the transformer cable is plugged in at the back of the safe. 3. Check the AC outlet has power using another electrical device such as a radio. 4. If a volt-meter is available skip to Step 5. Check the transformer temperature. If it was plugged in correctly and the outlet had power, the transformer should be warm. If the transformer has a light it should be lit. If the transformer is cold or extremely hot replace the transformer. If in doubt and parts must be shipped anyway, send a transformer just in case. 5. Check transformer.output voltage at the mouser connector (where the transformer cable plugs into the rear of the safe). If the output is bad, replace the transformer. If the output is good, it will be necessary to drill the safe open and replace the lock and the inner board. Replace other parts only if a new inner board does not solve the problem. 6. Before drilling removed the outer board and check the electrical connections to this board to ensure the problem is not simply a loose wire.
