OLD AuditLok XL - Daylight Savings Time

Standard XL

Safe keys # 3 to # 7 will enable you to make this change. Twice a year the time needs to be adjusted to account for Daylight Savings Time (DST). DST is controlled by a factory set window. It may only be “SET” to DST in March/April and “REMOVE” in October/November.
Level 3,4,5,6,7,9:
1. Log in.
2. Select “SUPERVISORY”.
3. Select “TIME”.
4. Select “DAYLIGHT SAVINGS”.
5. Select “SET DST” (Spring) or “REMOVE DST” (Fall).
6. Select "DONE".

Keyless/Bio XL

These instructions are for the optional (upgrade) keyless version software (available (May 2005 to December 2007). This software version includes an auto-DST feature. When enabled, the clock adjusts automatically for DST according to the USA Pre-2007 schedule. Manager level (#5 or higher key) users may enable or disable the Auto-DST feature. There are two options for dealing with daylight savings:
Option 1 Auto-adjust on wrong dates: When Auto-DST is on, this version shift on the wrong dates (old schedule). This may be a minor inconvenience for a few weeks each spring and fall, but there will be no need to contact the factory when time changes.
Option 2 Manually adjust time: The clock may only be adjusted (by more than two minutes) by contacting NKL Technical Service (1.800.452.4655) for an override. This should be done as soon as reasonably possible after a spring or fall time change.
