Vindicator - Locknet Safes for YUM!IdentificationA Taco-Bell installed by Locknet will show "Taco Bell Locknet" on the display. The information contained at the end of this document will apply to KFC's as well if their electronics were replaced by Locknet.Override Information & Instructions1. If they are located in CA or TX, some do not have the ability to change daylight savings using a store key. The stores in question have version 2.02 software and it did not have the ability to see a #3 key with daylight savings permissions. One of the symptoms is that the display will get stuck on "Wait" and will require the store to "cycle the power to correct. An over-ride will be required to change these settings. If the over-ride code will not work, they can either try to get a #1 key to perform this operation or one can be sent to them with the required permissions, if authorization is provided. As a last resort, the lower board can be replaced so that our over-ride codes will work, but again authorization is required before replacing the board for this reason.2. Also the following locations may require a specific "key number" when generating and over-ride. A list of known areas is as follows: Dallas, TX: area key number 100518 or 100519, using pin # 1234 Houston, TX: area key number 100515 or 100516, using pin # 7026, 1111 or 1234 Beaumont, TX: area key number 100514, using pin # 1111 or 1234 El Paso, TX: area key number 100511, using pin # 4245 or 1234 Odessa, TX: area key number 100587, using pin # 1234 San Diego, CA: area key number 100522, using pin # 1234 Bakersfield, CA: area key number 100513 or 100524, using pin # 1234 Cathedral, CA: area key number 100520 or 100521, using pin # 1009, 6969 or 1234 3. To generate a factory over-ride code for Taco Bells and some KFC's, use key #400000 and the location #. To determine the pin #, use the following formula: Add the store number and the number ("7052" for Taco Bell) or ("7055" for KFC) together to determine the sum. Starting from the left, take the first four numbers to use as the pin. Example: store # 3421 + 7052 = 10473 pin number would be 1047. 4. Locknet also enrolled a key number 400001. This key number is designed to be used to enroll keys only. No other functions can be performed. The pin number is generated the same as above. Determining Lock Handing of Cinci SafesPer Glen Burris of Cincy Safe Co.:1. If the safe is a Retro-fit and uses a "T" handle, the lock required will be "Left Handed". 2. If the safe is a "New" style and uses a "L" handle, then the lock required will be "Right Handed". 3. Please be AWARE that a locksmith could have changed the type of handle used sometime in the past for whatever reason, so the above information is only a guideline to use in determining the required lock for the majority of the Cincy safes in the field. It is not an absolute! Whenever possible, have the locksmith determine which "handed" lock is required. |
