Vindicator - KeysNot Reading Keys1. Check for dirt in the reader. Clean with moist cloth or pencil eraser.2. Is the key reader loose? If so, tighten. Replace the outer board if the reader is loose and cannot be tightened. 3. Remove the front panel and squeeze the circuit boards of the front panel together. They are actually two boards and sometimes they separate slightly over time and use. 4. If there is no display check power. 5. If only a certain key does not work, try to repair the key. Replace that key if still cannot be enrolled, read or repaired. 4. Check whether the safe accepts an override. If not, replace the inner board. 5. If it is a new key, re-order and make sure the proper COMPANY, LOC and KS (key series) information is encoded. |
