General Problems

Problems Solutions
No display, no response at keypad. 1. Check power source.
2. Check fuse.
3. Check internal power supply.
No display, keypad produces sounds. Check the gray wire plug inside the control panel.
LCD display is operational, no response from keypad. Check where the gray wire plugs in, inside control panel plugs in under keypad.
Message: bad battery - clear audit. Reset/reboot with GM code and reprogram.
Message: Set Date. Reset/reboot with GM code and reprogram.
Display freezes up or shows "#" all the way across display. Remove J9 next to battery. Remove the audit chip (U30, main board). Ground all chip pins. Replace chip then J9.
Display frozen (Smart Safe/Cashier). 1. Unplug power to the safe. Let the safe sit unplugged overnight. Restore power the next day. This should solve the problem.
2. Smart Cashier Only: Reset entire system after restoring power the next day because the system will default to one validator at 2000 note count.
Dispense know does not turn or message: Please Reset Knob. Switch legs are bent.
Fuses continually blow. Change transformer in control panel or if necessary replace entire panel.
Door 2 will not open. Door 2 will not open if door 1 is open in the closed position.
Door will not open. 1. Inner door ajar switch is not extended. Turn handle clockwise, disconnect door ajar switch; bolt must be released.
2. Door ajar switch may be set. Make sure you turn clockwise to relieve pressure on the switch, then turn to open.
   

Validator Problems

Problems Solutions
Motor stopped Recalibrate.
Stops taking bills. Clean with compressed air and/or cleaning cards.
Message: BV Failure or Unknown Bills A sensor is blocked. Power safe down, wait 10 minutes, restore power.
Message: Set Canister. To exit this message enter a valid 6-digit code, then press E, then *.
No validator power. Check validator wiring.
