Auditor Autobank - PrinterPrinter Self-Test1. Ensure printer has power, paper, and ribbon.2. Turn printer off. 3. Hold down FEED button while turning printer on. 4. Self-test should print. When first stage completes the print-out will say to press the FEED button again. Press the FEED button to continue. 5. If the printer fails the self test and it has paper and ribbon, replace the printer. Incomplete X or Z Report1. Run Diagnostic Report 126 and check to see if safe needs to be reset.2. If not all operator reports print and other areas of grand reports are ok, run the Enrolled User Report 108 to check that the users are enrolled. 3. If safe continues run incomplete reports, replace CPU. Incomplete 107 Config ReportReset safe. For software 2.5 and higher use RESET 98. Note: This should be the only time a 98 Reset is ever used.Printer Has No Power1. Check output power from the outlet.2. Check power switch is in ON position. 3. Check power cord plugged in (both ends). 4. Replace printer if all checks are okay. BUSY or CHECK PRINTER Message - External Printer1. Check the printer has power.2. Check the printer has paper and ribbon. 3. Perform Printer Self-Test. 4. Check the cable connections to the printer. 5. If all above checks do not lead to a solution, replace Printer. 6. Replace CPU only if printer checks okay in self-test and printer cable continuity checks okay. BUSY or CHECK PRINTER Message - Internal Printer1. Remove the printer cover.2. Remove the ribbon. 3. Turn safe power off. 4. Hold the feed button while turning power on. 5. If the printer starts to print (there will be no ink because ribbon is removed), the problem was a jammed ribbon and should work properly with a new ribbon. If nothing happens turn the safe off. 6. Disconnect the cable to the printer (orange connector with white wires). 7. Turn power on. 8. Attempt to print a report. Note: Report will not print, but will clear print buffer in memory. 9. Turn power off. 10. Re-connect the printer cable that was disconnected in Step 6. 11. Replace the ribbon. 12. Hold the feed button while turning power on. 13. If the printer does not print, check continuity of the printer cable. If cable continuity is good replace the printer (T-4673). If that does not fix the problem, replace the printer interface board (T-4679). No Receipt When Door Opens1. The door does not print a receipt if you do not select REMOVE CASH during door opening procedure.2. Run Configuration Report 107 and check Line 35. If the value is not 1111, program Config Option 35 to the value 1111 and retest. When running Report 107 check that a complete report prints. 3. Check the door sensor. ![]() |
