Auditor Autobank - DisplayWrong Date or Time DisplayedIf a driver board (or coin cell on the driver board) is replaced, the default date and time (midnight 01-01-80) may be displayed. If no service has recently been performed and the problem is not a matter of simply incorrect setup, the coin cell is probably the faulty component. If the safe keeps time poorly (ie. too fast or too slow) replace the coin cell. If the time is set incorrectly re-program. The TIME OF DAY setting is CONFIG OPTION 18. Adjusting the clock does not usually require special authorization for autobank safes, particularly if due to daylight saving.Display Locked on "AUDITOR" or "ALLIED GARY AB2000"When the screen is frozen on one of these messages, it is usually a symptom of a locked up processor. This is not a touch-pad problem. If power cycling clears this message the safe can be reset. Otherwise the CPU will need to be replaced. Note: The message "ALLIED GARY AB2000" indicates the software is version 1.82.1. Turn the safe off for at least 10 seconds. 2. Turn the safe on. Check for normal power-up messages. If the safe freezes on the same message, skip to Step 5. 3. If the screen does not freeze up run the Reports 107, 108, 110, and 111 in preparation for reset. Run Diagnostic Report 126 to see if the problem was due to a power spike. 4. Reset the CPU. If problems persist replace the CPU and Driver boards. 5. Open Door 1 using the DOOR and ACO keys. Note: If either key is unavailable, the safe must be drilled open. 6. Turn the safe off and remove the Coin Cell from the Driver Board. 7. Turn the safe on and observe the power-up messages. The display should cycle through to the date and time (or VEND DELAY). Note that the date and time will probably be incorrect with the coin cell removed. 8. Reset the CPU. Note: the CPU may only be reset by PIN because the factory override reset will not work with the Coin Cell removed. Software Versions 2.2 and higher: If the 6-digit PIN is not known and default PINs do not work, the CPU and Driver Boards must be replaced. Software V1.95 or lower: Use the 10-digit Factory Program Code (contact NKL/Gary Technical Support). 9. Turn the safe off and re-insert the Coin Cell. 10. Turn the safe on. 11. If the safe power-up is normal, reset the CPU again. If the safe display locks up again replace the Driver Board (Coin Cell). 12. Reprogram as needed. Scrambled Display1. Turn safe power off (at least 30 seconds) and back on.2. Check that the circuit boards and cables, in particular between the CPU and Display boards, are firmly connected. 3. Replace the CPU and Driver boards. 4. It is extremely rare that a Display board failure causes this symptom, but if the other boards are replaced and the problem persists, replace the Display board and the Display to CPU cable. |
