Auditor Autobank - OperationManual DropA manual drop is when money, usually placed in an envelop, is placed inside the safe.1. Press DROP. 2. Enter a valid USER NUMBER and press ENTER. (Versions older than 2.2 do not use USER NUMBERS). 3. Enter a valid PIN number for the specified USER NUMBER and press ENTER. 4. When prompted to insert bills, press DROP again. (Older software may skip this step). 5. Enter the amount you are dropping and press ENTER. 6. When prompted to confirm press ENTER. If you made an error, simply press ESC instead and start over. 7. Deposit the drop and take your receipt. Normal Validator DropThis procedure applies to safes equipped with validators.1. Press DROP. 2. Enter a valid USER NUMBER and press ENTER. (Versions older than 2.2 do not use USER NUMBERS). 3. Enter a valid PIN number for the specified USER NUMBER and press ENTER. 4. When prompted to insert bills, start feeding the bills into the validator. 5. When you are finished inserting bills, press ESC, or wait one minute for automatic cut-off. 6. Take receipt. Extended Drop & Insta-DropExtended Drop: This feature is available with Software 5.0, and applies to safes with validators. The extended drop mode is identical to regular validator drop mode, except that there is no one-minute time out. Follow the validator drop procedure above, except use the EXTENDED DROP (or FUNCTION 2 if there is no button marked EXTENDED DROP) button instead of the DROP button. Note that no other function may be performed in the extended drop mode, and the extended drop mode may only be stopped by pressing ESC. The safe will accept bills at any time while in the extended drop mode.Insta-Drop: This feature is in Software 5.5 and replaces the Extended Drop feature described in Step 1. The idea is that an operator logs into one of the INSTA-DROP buttons. Until another user logs into the INSTA-DROP or until the next Z Report is run, that operator can make validator drops by simply pressing the INSTA-DROP button only. To use: 1. Press the Extended Drop button. 2. Enter the USER NUMBER and press ENTER. 3. Enter the PIN and press ENTER. 4. To enroll into an INSTA-DROP button press 1. To delete a user press 0. 5. Select the INSTA-DROP button to enroll into. Buying ChangeThis feature is available with Software 5.0 or higher, and applies to AB2000 or AB283V model safes with validators. Buying change is actually a combination of making a validator drop and vending. This feature may be used by anyone with permission to drop whether they have vending permission or not. The vend delay does not apply to buying change.1. Press BUY CHANGE (or FUNCTION 1 if there is no button marked BUY CHANGE). 2. Enter a valid USER NUMBER and press ENTER. 3. Enter a valid PIN number for the specified USER NUMBER and press ENTER. 4. Enter the column number you wish to purchase change from and press ENTER. 5. Insert bills into the validator. Any overage is counted as a drop. 6. Take change and receipt. |
