ETD System 3HistoryThis safe is equipped with a 20 minute delay and 5 minute access, plus 15 minute to 18 hour timelock.Delay1. Locate the red button on the inner door. It is usually directly below the pull knob.2. To start the delay push the red button once. 3. A red light will light on the display panel indicating the safe is in the delay cycle. The display will count up until complete. 4. A buzzer will sound for 10 seconds when the delay period expires. The red light will go off and the lock bolt will retract to the open position. A green light will come on indicating the access period is active. The door may be opened any time during the access period. 5. The time delay may be aborted by pushing the button during the delay or access period a second time. Timelock1. The inner door must be open.2. Locate the three buttons on the back of the inner door. 3. Push the middle button to display the previous time lock setting. 4. Push the top button to increase and the bottom to decrease the setting. It will change in 15 minute increments. 5. While in time lock the remaining time flashes continuously. 6. To activate timelock push the middle button for a second time. To complete activation just close the door. 7. A 1 minute abort period will start and count to zero when the middle button is pressed the second time. To abort press the middle button a third time. 8. During time lock the time delay cannot be activated. 9. Once time lock is activated there is no way to override or abort after the 1 minute abort period has elapsed. |
