ETD System 2HistoryThis safe is equipped with a 20 minute delay and 5 minute access, plus 15 minute to 36 hour timelock.Time Delay - Bottom Door1. Dial in the combo.2. Insert tubular key into the keyswitch in the control panel at the top of the safe. 3. To activate the time delay, turn the key one time to the right to 2 o'clock position and back to the 10 o'clock position. 4. Turn the key back to the 12 o'clock position to hide the display. The count remains active while the display is blanked off. 5. When the 20 minute delay is completed a horn will sound for 10 seconds and the time delay lock bolt will automatically retract to the open position. Turn the door handle and open. 6. During the delay the count down may be aborted by simply turning the key to the 2 o'clock position and back to the 12 o'clock position. Time Lock - Bottom Door1. The bottom door must be open. See procedure above.2. Locate the red/black button and the toggle switch on the side of the bottom safe door. 3. Insert tubular key into the keyswitch in the control panel at the top of the safe.> Turn to the 10 o'clock position and leave in this position. 4. Push the red/black button one time to activate the previous time setting. It will display on the panel. 5. To change the setting push the toggle switch up to increase the time and down to decrease the time. It will change in 15 minute increments. 6. To activate timelock push the red/black button for a second time. To activate just close the door and turn the key to the 12 o'clock position and remove the key. 7. A 1 minute abort period will start and count to zero when the red/black button is pressed the second time. To abort press the red/black button a third time and turn the key to the 12 o'clock position. 8. At any time while in time lock the key can be inserted and turned to the 10 o'clock position to check the time remaining. 9. During time lock the time delay cannot be activated. 10. Once time lock is activated there is no way to override or abort after the 1 minute abort period has elapsed. |
