Keypad Lock - SmartGardAbout SmartGard1. The SmartGard is a digital access control system. It has an LCD display that shows access information.2. All access combos are 6-digits. For master users with an 8-digit combo, the first six digits are the access number used to enter the safe. Each combo digit entered is displayed as an "X" to keep the combo confidential. 3. Numbers should be entered slowly and carefully to avoid false entries. If an incorrect combo is entered the display will freeze, then go blank except for a blinking cursor. When the blinking cursor disappears you may re-enter the combo. If wrong combo's are entered too many times a penalty may go into effect preventing access for a specific period. 4.
