Keypad Lock - DigiGard

Add or Reinstate User

1. Enter primary combo.
2. Hold down the last digit of the combo until the display reads "FC=".
3. Enter "1".
4. Display will show list of assigned users. Disabled users will flash.
5. Enter the number of the user to add/enable.
6. Enter the new user combo twice.
7. When the new user combo is accepted the display will read DONE. If invalid the display will go blank.

Disable User

1. Enter primary combo.
2. Hold down the last digit of the combo until the display reads "FC=".
3. Enter "2".
4. Enter the number of the sub-user to be disabled.
5. Enter another user number to disable or, to exit, wait for the display to go blank.

Remove User

1. Enter the primary combination.
2. Hold down the last digit of the combo until the panel displays "FC=".
3. Press 3. Assigned User Numbers will appear on the display.
4. Enter User Number to delete.
5. Exit or continue removing users.

Change Batteries

1. A repeated beeping during opening indicates batteries are low.
2. Replace the batteries immediately:
3. Remove the battery cover.
4. Replace six C-Cell alkaline batteries.
5. A 9-VDC battery applied to the terminals on the front of the display allow access when the internal batteries are too low to pull the lock solenoid open.

Change Combination

1. Open the door and leave it open while changing the combination.
2. Enter 000000.
3. Enter old combo.
4. Enter new combo twice.
5. If the new combo is accepted the display reads "DONE"; otherwise the lock beeps three times and the display goes blank.
6. Verify the new combo before closing the door.

Using Two Combinations

This option must be activated by the factory prior to installation.
1. Enter the first combo.
2. Enter the second combo.
3. The screen should read "OPEN".

Audit

The audit trail stores the last 99 events in memory. This procedure explains how to view the audit trail.
1. Enter the primary combo.
2. Hold down the last digit of the combo until "FC=" appears on the display.
3. Press "7".
4. Events are desplayed most recent first.
5. To scroll forward press "7".
6. To scroll backward press "8".
7. To exit press any other number.
Event Codes
   0 = Open
   1 = Add or Reinstate User or Change Combo
   2 = Temporarily Disable or Remove User
   3 = Lock Failure
   4 = Wrong Try Penalty
   5 = Feature Added/Changed (Service Only)
   6 = Set Time Lock
   7 = Access Denied or Time Lock Activated
   If a LG icon appears with any event code it indicates the silent alarm was activated.

Delay

During the delay period performing user functions or running an audit will abort the delay count. The LCD display shows time counting down during the delay and counts up during access time.
1. Enter the combo.
2. Delay starts and display shows count down.
3. If the combo is entered while counting down, the delay period re-starts. If a wrong combo is entered the count down aborts.
4. When delay ends, the open period starts and the display begins to count up.
5. The locks beeps every 10 seconds until the access time ends or the door opens.
6. If a wrong combo is entered during the access period, the access time continues to count up until expiration.
7. If four consecutive wrong combo's are entered the access period aborts and the Wrong Try Penalty period begins.
8. During the access period enter the correct combo and the display will read "OPEN".
9. Open the door.
10. If the lock beeps repeatedly after opening the door check the batteries.

Timelock

If activated, the time lock settings are activated immediately.
1. Enter primary combo.
2. Hold down last digit of combo until "FC=" appears on display.
3. Enter "9".
4. Enter lock period (hh:mm format). The next digit to be entered will flash until all digits are entered, then all digits will flash.
5. When all digits are entered and begin to flash, press and hold "9" until display reads DONE.
6. If any other key is hit in Step 5 the time lock will not activate.
7. While time lock is active, using the primary combo will display the time remaining on the time lock period.
