Audit Verification Lock (AVL)

Types of Keys

The AVL uses Dallas Semiconductor touch keys similar to AuditLok XL. Key life is typically eight years. One master key and two user keys are provided with a new unit. If all keys are lost, a new primary lock must be installed along with a new master key. Up to 15 keys may be enrolled into an AVL.
Master Key: The Master Key sets time delay and time lock, time, date, enrolls and deletes keys, but cannot open the door. Only one Master Key may be enrolled at any time.
User Key: A User Key can open the safe within the time delay and time lock parameters established using the Master Key. A User Key can also the audit trail. Two User Keys are provided with the AVL package.
Armored Car Key: An Armor Car Key overrides time delay and time lock settings. To open the safe the Armor Car Key must be used together with a User Key. Armor Car Keys are ordered separately.
Super-Master Key: This key is self-enrolling as a replacement Master Key. Activation requires a User Key for validation.
